Why you think their ratings are slumping?! It’s because their content and view points  fucking suck!

I imagine the reasons are multitudinous, but a primary one would be more competition than Fox. If CNN or MSNBC shut down, I would imagine the others’ ratings would nearly double.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

CNN and MSNBC viewers are just watching clips on YouTube - no ratings points for that.

Ratings aren't meaningless - advertisers only pay for views, and they aren't getting TV eyeballs from people watching the clips on YouTube. But they don't account for overall engagement

Andrew Tate is a prime example of wtf is wrong with the current right.

We're sending multi million dollar fighter jets to shoot $400,000 miles at a $13 balloon that his been around the world 6 times because muh national security is being threatened by a hostile unidentified object, and Anderson Cooper and Andrew Tate are a concern after a spy balloon from China crosses the whole country and we're trying to get into WW3 in Europe and provoking China to boot while sending money to Ukraine to support their pension programs and social services ?

"The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade says it has declared the balloon, which has circumnavigated the globe six times, missing in action after its last transmission indicated that it was near Hagemeister Island, off the south-west corner of Alaska."

Some of us can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Some can even enjoy NCAA basketball despite conspiracy theories about balloons.

Yes, popular social media influencers who engage in human trafficking and spread toxic masculinity among our youth are a significant concern.

Apparently the President immediately offered assistance to Ohio, but Governor DeWine declined. DeWine later changed his mind, and the Feds were sent to East Palestine.

Republicans are whining that the White House did not act sooner.

Trump is saying they acted because he plans to visit.

Apparently a large percentage of residents rely on public assistance. This disaster happened just as pandemic aid expired, resulting in a large reduction in food assistance. Meanwhile, Republicans are pushing for more cuts.

But, what about missing balloons?

Bruen refers to the recent SCOTUS 2nd amendment gun control ruling. That too is prolly more impactful on our daily lives than missing balloons.

My understanding is public safety / public interest can no longer be used to justify restrictions on the right to obtain, keep, and bear arms
Instead, there must an early American historical precedent. Something like that. Among other things, this apparently removes the ban on ghost guns and weapons with serial numbers filed off.

Your guy Lindsey Graham was on TV today saying that we need to send the Ukrainians what they need to dispose of Trump-backer Putin's army. He's right.

I hope Norfolk Southern is sued to the moon and back.  Likely won't happen but one can hope.  I read tonight that the idiot CEO is offering everyone in that zip code $1,000 which I guarantee is tied to a promise to not sue upon acceptance.  Slimy fucks.

Both sides of the political aisle have really let down both rail workers and the citizens of East Palestine and the surrounding area.  Basically because 99% of the political spectrum is tied directly to the economy and not what's best for people in general.  That fucking idiot Dewine getting up there and talking about how safe the water is - ok dickhead go ahead and get a nice big pitcher from a tap and drink it.  The other entirely messed up thing is that like 70 percent of the citizens of that town are at or below the poverty level and these assholes are telling them to go buy bunches of bottled water when half the families there probably have trouble keeping a roof over their head in normal times.

The politics are interesting in that it exposes a growing rift in the Republican party.  Putin wants the old isolationist/appeasement wing of the GOP back.
