It's from the Dominion voting systems lawsuit .....
Unrelated to the current suit, but these guys ......
"WASHINGTON- U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) sent a letter to the three largest election equipment vendors- Election Systems & Software, LLC; Dominion Voting Systems, Inc.; and Hart InterCivic, Inc. - inquiring about the security of their voting machines and whether their companies have been asked to share the source code or other sensitive or proprietary details associated with their voting machines with Russian entities."

That letter is a far cry from spurious claims of rigged voting machines and corrupt election administrators. Klobuchar and Shaheen were responding to state officials that reported Russian hackers were probing their voting systems during the 2016 election. While a small number of networks were compromised, voting machines were not directly affected and there remains no evidence any vote was altered.
That doesn’t mean we should sit on our hands. I don’t think anybody here disagrees that states need to make significant upgrades to their election systems, including patching cybersecurity vulnerabilities, replacing outdated voting machines, upgrading voter registration databases and websites, and buying equipment for sorting, opening and verifying ballots. One report estimates the U.S. will need to spend $50 billion over the next decade to address these needs.
Democrats did follow-up on their concerns by introducing several bills to improve election security after the 2016 election. Unfortunately, their legislation didn’t go very far over disagreements on how to balance federal-state election regulatory powers.
