What is the problem?
The GOP doesn't want people to vote. If a lot of people vote, they will lose. So their only hope is to change that paradigm
"Studies show" vote by mail helps neither side.
I know Republicans are pretty sure that lower turnout helps their cause, and that crying fraud is a smoke screen.
Mn seemed to be defending Trump's tweet, Trump claimed CA is sending ballots to all residents; even those who are not eligible to vote. The Twitter fact check noted only registered voters will be sent ballots. Mn's comment supported that, refuted Trump. I wonder what point he was trying to make.
I would hope that anybody who has voted would know that you have to be registered to vote.
If you accept that there is fraud in the current mail-in system, and I don't know who would say there isn't any other than twitter; then 2 of their 3 Trump fact checks were incorrect. CNN was one expert source that Twitter used and I believe WaPo was another.
The current system isn't the concern. It's the leap to national mail-in with no opt-in, ballot harvesting and non-purged voting records. In a perfect world, that may work.
Twitter wanted to censor Trump's "thug" comment, yet Obama used the same exact word re Baltimore in 2015.
Twitter wanted to censor his once the looting starts, the shooting starts. Should he have said that ? I don't think so. Did the shooting come after the looting ? It sure did.
And the mayor of Minneapolis and the Governor have thrown up their hands and said we're outnumbered while the city burns, businesses are looted and destroyed, and neighborhoods are ruined.
Twitter couldn't find any German law that covered social media posts by POTUS, so they let it go.
