If you could promise a Guatemalan a decent job and a safe place to live, almost none of them would be coming here.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Yes, all those people who came and come here from Europe and Africa really wanted to go to Germany, Japan, and China instead.

The cool thing is to go against the positives and put your country down. To him it’s bad to have pride in your country…

I am proud and lucky to be an American. But I also don’t have an overinflated sense of self-worth or national greatness. America is a great, but flawed country (like anywhere else). Being born in the U.S. is essentially winning the earthling lottery, though.

If Japan or Germany were reachable and they thought they could get in, they’d go there too.

Germany and most of the rest of Europe has taken an absolutely onslaught of immigrants over the last decade. Lots of people (racists!) aren’t happy about it. Just like here. It’s weird how this same thing is going on all over the world at the same time. Ray is beaming at the success of the globalists.

You probably haven’t seen the protests because MSM isn’t showing them. They aren’t seeking articles of our constitution, they’re seeking the opportunities that these economies have created.

Yes, all those people who came and come here from Europe and Africa really wanted to go to Germany, Japan, and China instead.

They also came largely for economic opportunity. Yes, the Constitution played a role in that, but not many people came here thinking “I gotsta get me some of that freedom of speech and right to remain silent!”

They came here seeking an improved quality of life, and yes, the Constitution did help foster that. As did our liberal immigration policies.

Japan's economy has been stagnant for 40 years.

Germany? I don't know about that. Try getting a work permit over there.

China has zero rights.  Good luck once there.

You are really bad at this.

If Germany and the U.S. changed places on the map, and Germany had our immigration policies and border, they’d be headed to Germany. Just as Africans head mostly to Europe, not America.

Something that is great can still have warts. Especially when 340 million people are involved. America is great, it could also be improved upon, for sure.

Yes, America is a great land of opportunity; but almost no one from Central America is coming here because “Damn, that U.S. Constitution is lit! 🔥 “

They are coming here because of desperation and economic opportunity. They aren’t thinking about the 2nd, 8th, 9th, 12th, 16th or 27th Amendments. They by and large aren’t even coming here because of the 1st. The are poor and in despair. That’s why they come here.

Custard is here for the 18th Amendment

Japan's economy has been stagnant for 40 years.

Is that specifically because of their Constitution?

If you're really gonna be honest, if you take a bunch of people, put them in an area that has 1/10th the population density as older developed nations, and the natural resources of that area have not been depleted by the previous inhabitants, you'd have to be complete fuckups not to do well.

Now is U.S. prosperity a byproduct of the Constitution? That can be easily argued a yes, but that’s far from the only reason we’re prosperous, and it isn’t why people are lined up at the border. That’s nonsense.

Compared to the vast majority of Central America, Japan’s economy would be considered paradise.
