You are way more selective than even the average person about your information intake. There is zero reason to strap an injured person to a burning hot Jeep hood. Other than to torture him or use him as a shield.

What evidence do you have that he wasn’t? Regardless, pretty cruel to strap a wounded man to the hood of a military jeep motor. I’m sure it was hot out as well. Presidential candidates have been doomed for doing less to dogs.
