He was a kid. Should have been tried in juvenile court.

I wonder what kind of rehabilitation services he got in jail? Did he learn a marketable skill,? How long before he is back behind bars? Hopefully, he'll turn his life around.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but aren’t you currently defending a soft on crime liberal prosecutor? A man was killed and you’re worried about the marketable skills of the kid (who is done serving time) that fired on him?

The defund the police initiatives blew up in their faces and they had to refund the police?

The current issues caused by the soft on crime prosecutors and the bail reform aren’t enough to offset the transitory nature of the historic spike in crime in 2020-22. If numbers fail to return to prepandemic levels, that will likely be a part of it.

As far as the invasion of our southern border by over 7 million people under Biden, I know you like to apply historic statistics to precedent setting events and suppress news stories that don’t fit your agenda, but one thing is undeniably true: they are adding crime.

They are adding to crime. But the numbers show that immigration helps the economy (see Japan, and now China, for what happens when population/low birth rate issues arise). Also, we have a labor crunch in this country, as declared by the liberals at the Wall Street Journal in a column about how labor costs have spiked for independent restaurants, amongst other costs.

But hey, quite a few people are not going to be happy until we have negative population growth and a stalled economy like Japan's.

Now this is not a call for unfettered immigration, but something has to be done.

Never said suppress anything. I don't agree with blaming all members of a group for the misdeeds of a few.

Let's start reporting the race, ethnicity, religion, occupation, immigration status, etcetera of every person charged with a crime.

Example: a crime was committed. Joe Blow, age 25 of somewhere was arrested.

Or:

A crime was committed. The victim was a white female. A black male age 25  from shanty town has been arrested.

I am not opposed to including relevant data. If immigration status, ethnicity, and so on goes to motive, report it. If it is coincidental?
