Odd. I've read here that a live birth wouldn't occur.

Get those cataracts fixed. Among other things, the link to various news articles was posted. This is pretty much "won't survive outside the womb for very long" sort of thing. Maybe Tempo didn't read the original sources and posted something wrong.

Maybe someone posted "the baby won't live" and you interpreted that as the baby would be stillborn, but that's never been the assertion. For the family, this is probably worse, you can't just let the baby die (infanticide) so you get to fork over a couple hundred grand or more for a few weeks in the NICU.
