The NY Post claims 8 million people entered the country illegally on Biden's watch. I don't know the actual number of unlawful border crossings, or how many were reentries. I do know that there are several things wrong with that number. For one, President Trump ruled they aren't subject to the jurisdiction, so their entry can be unlawful, but not illegal.

Not sure anyone knows the real number and politicians as you know will spin stats however they can to get people riled up. Even if it’s only 3-4 million that’s still a silly number.

I think Democrats want people to step back, calm down, and take a reasonable approach.

The fact check org article I linked is tedious, but takes a hard look at where the various numbers come from.

The other article is more readable and deals with the extremist rhetoric the right uses to scare people.
