Fact check: It wasn’t ‘in jest.’ Here are 53 times Trump said he’d end Ukraine war within 24 hours or before taking office | CNN Politics https://share.google/GA6dnfHwu66e1tJby
Just what do you think you're doing, illiniray?

So he was full of shit, you agree?
No.
This might come as a surprise to you but he has a tendency to exaggerate. Oftentimes it's a bit on the optimistic side.

I think that you know you tend to exaggerate on some things but I wouldn't be surprised if you don't.

The last 2 Democrat Presidents let Russia invade Ukraine.
If the socialists win the White House in 2028 which country should they let Russia invade  ?

Nonsense.  Neither Obama nor Biden “let” Russia invade Ukraine.

The Biden administration warned of the impending attack, exposed Moscow’s fabricated pretexts and false-flag operations, rallied international support, supplied military aid, and imposed economic sanctions.

The Obama administration condemned Russia’s annexation of Crimea and coordinated economic sanctions with European allies.

Neither Obama nor Biden was willing to risk direct military intervention or escalation.  Of the two, Obama deserves more criticism for responding cautiously and declining to provide Ukraine with lethal military aid.

Now if a socialist became president, I suppose it would be acceptable for him/her to “let” Russia annex your home.  I think you would be much happier living under Putin’s rule.

As I said. And if the Dems get the WH in 2028 which country will they let Russia invade to avoid risking "direct military intervention or escalation" ?

And Blinken said the Biden administration didn't do anything to address Iran because of politics.
Lol

And now the GOP will lose the midterms because his base was taking him literally.

He knew this of course, he loves useful idiots. But now they are pissed because he “exaggerated” something they read as a “promise”.

Fortunately for him at least half his base is so wacked out they look at high gas prices and say “it’s just part of the plan I Trust him”

If we gave them what they needed to get this over with pronto Putin would be lying dead under some rubble. Instead this is dragging on and Trump and Musk are playing footsie with Putin.

Russian drone and missile incursions into NATO territory have escalated sharply since 2024 through direct border crossings and "gray-zone" hybrid operations.

Key Incidents and Affected Countries

• Romania: Recorded a dramatic surge in airspace violations, with at least 35 unauthorized drone entries and 23 confirmed airspace breaches in 2026 alone (following 9 in 2025 and 7 in 2024), alongside multiple crashes and debris finds near the Black Sea and border towns like Galați.
• Poland: Faced major incursions, including an incident where 21 Russian drones crossed from Belarus, prompting Poland to invoke NATO Article 4.
• The Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania): Experienced multiple border violations and stray munitions, including a drone hitting a power station chimney in Estonia and an incursion forcing the temporary closure of Vilnius Airport in Lithuania.
• Germany: Suffered a high-profile incident at Leipzig/Halle Airport, where a quadcopter with plastic explosives struck a cargo plane.
• Alliance-Wide Scale: An International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) count reported 144 suspicious reconnaissance or airspace drone incidents over a dozen European NATO nations between August 2024 and mid-2026.

Obama deserves the greatest share of blame for not responding more aggressively. Biden took stronger action, but as Russia faltered on the battlefield in fall 2022, his advisers were clearly concerned about the growing risk of nuclear escalation.
