While I might not agree with her firing and definitely not the style, if she was making 175k, 2 decades in, one child, and her husband was working as well, and they are still within the window for COBRA, that's some serious financial mismanagement. There are so many people out there for whom 175k would be 4-5 years of income.

Was wondering what they spent all their money on. Was definitely not saved as part of a rainy day fund.
