Hearing a lot of people in the Trump administration are really sweating their legal ramifications should a Democrat be elected in 2028. But that would require a Democrat with a spine, so they should be fine.
Wanting America to be better is not America-hating, it’s patriotism.

And Trump has predictably caused Tempo to lose focus. Shocking.

Trump says U.S. will destroy Iran’s oil wells, Kharg Island without deal to ‘immediately’ reopen Hormuz Strait

Open the strait so we can get the oil through the strait or we will destroy the oil that we need to get through the strait. Also if we blow up that island then surely Iran will blow up the strait.

I can imagine Trump talking to a jumper. “Come down off that ledge or I will push you off if it!”

Just imagine if Sleepy Joe had a $700m plane destroyed by the Iranians and the Iranians dictating who can go through the Strait of Hormuz the howls we would be getting from The Usual Suspects.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trump-secretly-admits-humiliating-defeat-on-major-war-aim/ar-AA1ZNsU2

The 79-year-old president has been telling aides he is willing to end military operations in the Middle East without resolving the crisis surrounding the vital shipping route through which one-fifth of the world’s oil passes, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Any decision to leave the Strait closed and not bother to resolve the resulting global oil crisis would mark a humiliating walkback for Trump, who has been making increasingly unhinged threats to escalate the conflict unless Tehran caves and reopens the narrow passage from the Persian Gulf.

Ah, the old “sources close to the situation who aren’t authorized to speak on the situation, situation”

These people hate America and want us to fail.

80 some percent of the world’s oil supply DOESN’T come through the Strait. Let’s ramp up production and supply lines elsewhere and cut Iran’s dick off.

I don’t want the US to fail - but success or failure is not luck. If you implement bad policies, you will fail. Period. I want America to do great, which requires good policy. Choosing a man who implements shitty policy is choosing failure. The actual train wreck is a symptom, not the cause.

For a guy who really gets jacked up about how the rest of us should “stay in our lanes” because you are the “ag expert”, you sure seem to think you are an expert in “ramping up oil production”

(once again, my family owns tens of thousands of acres in Logan County, farms more, and owned a Deere dealership)

And there is really something here where Americans really flunk physics and economics. 100% of the worlds oil “comes from” dead dinosaurs (more so other long passed organic material) - thus the name “fossil fuel”. We aren’t making oil, we are using oil.

Every barrel used makes the remaining ones more valuable. The best long term play is to hold on to our own, preferably by flat out using less but at the very least let other countries fuck over their descendants by blowing through their supplies instead of blowing through our own
