Bezos is gonna have to make do with his $250 billion. The entire WaPo is 1/1000th his net worth. Each $250 million becoming exponentially more comfortable.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Bezos isn’t sweating any losses on the WaPo.

His losses on the WaPo literally might not exceed the cost of year maintenance on his yachts.

I love how you Progressives tell others what is and isn’t a “big loss” to others when you don’t have any money. Or how to spend it.
Because FOX News told me so…

He isn't wrong since your claim that he is firing 300 people to appease Trump is far more ridiculous

LOL. Delusional

What’s delusional is thinking a guy who had to give up $38 billion in a divorce settlement (nearly $50 billion in 2026 dollars and 380-500x more than WaPo’s estimated $100 million loss in 2025) and still finished that year as the World’s Richest Person is sweating $100 million in losses.

Jeff Bezos loses $100 million in less time than it takes him to finish his tropical pearl lobster and beluga caviar sandwich on lightly toasted 7 grain at lunch.

Probably more of a vanity thing. Doesn’t want the paper to look like it’s losing money. But the WaPo is barely pocket money for Bezos.

What do you think Bezos values more? The $250 million dollar WaPo, or Blue Origin, which he thinks could be worth trillions in the not too distant future?

If he didn't care about losses, he wouldn't have fired the entire sports department which has nothing to do at all with Trump.

What does he care about sports?
