I think he’s talking about the whatever percentage of active armed service personnel who qualify for some form of food stamp assistance. I’m sure that if we dug into it a little bit more that doesn’t tell the whole story.

It's my understanding that SNAP benefits being held up are part of the current shutdown.

Nonetheless, if that's not the issue then the Democrats have had the Presidency, the Senate and the House.

I'm not worried.  Trump will find a billionaire or oil sheik buddy to provide SNAP benefits.

Or perhaps the Chinese will provide humanitarian aid as part of a big beautiful trade deal.

people on snap can pay for it by paying tariffs which they then get back as SNAP
