You’re smoking crack. Everything in Wisconsin is cheaper. I do all of the shopping in my family. I can often save $6-8 on as little as 4 items. I pass two Jewels and a couple other stores to get to Woodman’s. Plus, Woodman’s gas is often 30-40 cents cheaper than anywhere else other than Sam’s, which is usually the same price.

If I took $100 to Jewel, I could get the same shit at Woodman’s for $65-70. The only thing Woodman’s lacks is the butcher shop.

I remain skeptical about Woodman's. I think I was last at one in Feb or March to pick up beer and snacks for an overnight outing at a buddy's place around Whitewater. Did not see eveidence of any price savings avaialble at that time.

Jesus dude. I’ve been living the Woodman’s life for some time. And saved lots of money. I get bacon at Woodman’s (perfectly fine quality) for $5.99. Same brand at Jewel would be $9.99. For those who didn’t major in math that’s $4 on one item. I haven’t bought any booze in a long time, but I’d be surprised if it’s not also cheaper.

I do know that a bag of ice is half the cost at Woodman’s as it is at Jewel. My ice maker was down for a while about a year ago. 10# bag of ice at Woodmans was $1.39. Would be $3.50 easy at Jewel.


You can get good deals on the app at Jewel, but that’s mostly fruit and meat. And it’s not all the time. I do like the Jewel deli.
