Who did the Tennessee Highway Patrol call for guidance when they were told to let the Maryland man and his band of construction workers go ?

Abrego Garcia said he and the people with him were returning from 2 weeks in St Louis for construction work. No tools in the vehicle and phone records and license plate readers show that they had just been in Texas.
US 30/40 runs from Houston, thru Nashville, to Maryland.
Ben Schrader resigned the day the indictment was signed. Some are saying that he felt the charges were "politically motivated."
