Here's my Gov. People may get the chance to vote for him, again, in 2028.

How would he be up for re-election as Governor in 2028?
He's done.
Crowing over Tesla stock dropping is such a brutal look. Elon is doing some severe damage to what is really a pretty good company with a solid, well respected product, in a growth market that could future proof the US Automotive industry. I can understand being upset with the dumbassery of Elon being given power inside the US Government, and the dumbass shit he's doing with said power, but what is happening to Tesla as a company is pretty bad.
And I'm not talking about the stock really. Even with its growth potential, it was definitely overpriced at 400+ a share. But the brand falling apart and the residual damage to the company - even more so for its employee base than the product line - is just bad news.
In the end he was just a meme candidate at the National level. Look at his rallies, just sound bites of snark for the most part. "Weird". Compared to say, Shapiro, who ground through actual law and policy. Pritzker has been exposed to a lot of high level finance and economics prior to being Governor. Kelly was higher level in the Military. That's not necessarily important for our idiocracy of voters, but Walz really didn't add much.
Governor of some backwater state, fine. I mean, we are talking about a state that still exists in reasonable form after electing Jesse The Body Ventura. California is still humming along despite electing Arnold Schwarzenegger. How did two actors from Predator become Governor? Though Arnold is actually quite smart and well read, I have a lot of respect for the guy.
