The Patel email, according to a copy reviewed by The Post, said that "the FBI, through the Office of the Director, is in charge of all of our review processes and will conduct reviews in accordance with FBI procedures. " Leaders at several other agencies also sent emails directing a pause, according to records obtained by The Post."
