I think Canada and Mexico will ultimately create new trade relationships with the EU, South America and China.  This will end up being a permanent realignment if the US isn't smart.

If Trump and his cronies are NOT front running his bizarro policy whipsaws to profit from the market swings, the only other explanation is complete incompetence.

I think I prefer corruption.

This one was pretty obvious, but I didn't have any raw cash lying around to dump into the S&P at market open today.
