The truth is, a lot of them came here to sell Fentanyl. They found easy prey amongst the MAGA population.
I find it freaking hilarious being in Deep Red Central Missouri with all the billboards telling kids to stay away from the "Uninvited party guest - FENTANYL". Gotta stay away from that uninvited party guest and stick to the cocaine and ecstasy that were invited.
Sadly our kids have a much different uninvited, far less fun party guest. "Hey kids, gather round, this is Tina Smelby, Ms. Smelby is a college counselor who works with kids that have SATs over 1400"
Red states are taking a proactive approach to warning people of the danger of these substances. The horror!
In blue states people want to treat it as a disease and keep it behind closed doors. Or just legalize it! Drugs aren’t the problem, it’s the people. But also, let’s ban guns!
Of course, California leads the nation in fentanyl deaths. Deep blue DC has almost double the rate of fentanyl deaths than Missouri.
Nashville is a fentanyl hot spot, which makes sense as it’s a tourist town, but ICE is in town cleaning these crop pickers out as fast as they can. Hope we give them a nice foot rest on their way home!
