That depends on the individual. It would be case by case. A person who accepts a pardon for unspecified crimes can't admit guilt since they haven't been charged.

None of J6 committee or the LEOs and guards that testified have been charged. Same with Biden's family other than Hunter. They have been offered preemptive pardons.
How would they confess to crime they didn't commit and they haven't been charged with?
