Seriously, I do think they will decide recent COLAs were too high and cut current recipients. This won't save much though.

Long range, they are reselling SS as a welfare program rather than an earned benefit. Tell someone who paid in their whole adult life they are now on welfare; that's going to piss off some Trump voters.

The end game would be what?

Zero percent chance they deport that lady. Was reading an article yesterday that a lot of Hispanics aren’t that worried about it, and a lot of the undocumented are like lol good luck finding me. Of course the TDS fear porn folks are going to make it out like they’re going to separate every Hispanic family in the US regardless of how they got here, just like they pretend every abortion is because of rape/incest or a threat to the woman’s life.
