Doesn't matter. This trial isn't even *that* big of a deal - he paid off a porn star, and did some financial chicanery to use other people's money to do it.

Rich people stay out of jail for far worse. It's very telling that Trump says "I could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and I wouldn't even lose a voter". He discusses it in the context of losing voters because he knows he wouldn't go to jail for that.
