"Revised figures reveal a significant overstatement in the Harris-Biden administration's job creation claims, with 818,000 fewer jobs than initially reported—marking the largest downward adjustment in 15 years.

Amid these revelations, the data also shows a concerning trend. While native-born Americans lost 1.2 million jobs over the past year, 1.3 million jobs were filled by foreign-born workers,"

One word. dystopian.

Erika McEntarfer was, of course, the commissioner of BLS. She had nothing directly to do with the various reports. The person responsible for jobs reports was actually hired during Trump's first term.

Also, Trump was not complaining about Erika McEntarfer when BLS released favorable inflation numbers.

I haven't seen any reaction to this from my conservative friends in social media. Or from our resident Trump apologists. It appears they have yet to be told what to think.

What's next? Quietly put another Trump loyalist in charge of BLS to rig all the numbers to make Trump look good?

The new commissioner better bring plenty of Sharpies.

Fake job numbers are not going to matter when people see the effects in their everyday lives.  There is going to be a slowdown in consumer spending not just from price increases, but from people tightening the belt in case they lose their jobs.

"How does BLS measure jobs?
The Current Employment Statistics (CES) survey results are based on responses from around 121,000 businesses and government agencies, including both large and small businesses across a variety of industries."

"Why is the jobs report revised?
Not all surveyed employers report payroll data in time for the initial release so the CES estimates are considered preliminary.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics continues to collect payroll data and updates the job estimates twice before making a final yearly (benchmark) revision.

For each month, BLS releases a second estimate one month after the first, and a final estimate two months after the first. These updates include more responses and corrections.

Each time new data is added or old data is revised, BLS also updates the seasonal adjustment calculations, which can contribute to additional change in the final numbers."

If the first paragraph is true, then why the need to fire the commissioner?

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

“We can’t let our farmers not have anybody. You know, these are very these people, they’re you can’t replace them very easily,” Trump said of the mostly Hispanic immigrants toiling on the country’s farms to ensure that Americans have food on their tables. “You know, people that live in the inner city are not doing that work. They’re just not doing that work. And they’ve tried, we’ve tried. Everybody tried. They don’t do it.”

“These people do it naturally, naturally,” he said of the migrant workers. “I said, what happens if they get it to a farmer the other day, what happens if they get a bad back? He said, they don’t get a bad back, sir, because if they get a bad back, they die. I said that’s interesting, isn’t it?”

Hmmm...there was an earlier time in our history when people thought members of a certain race functioned well as farm equipment.

Well, Reggie White said, "You can see a Hispanic person, and he can put 20 or 30 people in one home."

Well, Reggie White said, "You can see a Hispanic person, and he can put 20 or 30 people in one home."

That was a doozy of a speech to the Wisconsin state legislators.  His comments showed that Caucasians haven't cornered the market on racial stereotyping.
