Bad time for Trent, DaMonte, and Curbelo to all be struggling. Add in a morning game 36 hours after a hard fought grinder and I’ll be happy if we keep it respectable.

I don't usually ascribe to a being tired concern unless it is in Multi-day. Conference tourney.

These guys practice harder almost everyday than a game and all grew up playing 3 or 4 games a day in AAU in summer gyms.

They just need to execute better and hit shots.

Wouldn't surprise me to see us lose by 20. Houston is a bad match up and playing at an extremely high level and has a ton of tournament experience already.  Add in our recent dogshit play and record and a morning game and I don't think this one will be close.  Going to bet on the illini losing so at least I'll be able to afford a few beers to cry in.

Don’t disagree with most of this but didn’t Houston lose their entire starting five from last years final four run?
