Some feller on the friendbook was suggesting Grandison is done for the year.  Haven't seen anything to support that, though.

If Hawkins can stay focused and Melendez is healthy we should be OK, but would love to have Grandison out there. He is 41% 3 point guy with almost 2 a game, and makes pretty good decisions overall.

We should be fine in first two games of NCAA unless we totally melt down.
After that we have to be playing very well.

The real wild card is what Curbelo will show up. A S16 game will be decided by a couple possessions and he is still looser than fuck with the rock.

If Grandison was a game time decision vs xxxx, and Underwood said on Monday that he's day to day I think it's safe to say it's not broke.
Hawkins ability to play as well as he did putting up 9 and grabbing 11 boards while only picking up 2 fouls will hopefully result in many more games like that. Staying out of foul trouble has not exactly been the strongest part of his game.

The emergence of RJ and Hawkins helped with Grandison but outside of the brilliant game at Sparty he’s not been giving us much lately and his defense has been flat footed and horrid at times. And he’s another guy that basically gives you spot up threes and occasional putbacks. When not fouling RJ and Hawk are much better potential defenders and certainly more dynamic on offense. Obviously Hawk can’t match Jake’s 3 shooting prowess.

I wouldn’t put much stock into what the staff says regarding short term player availability, especially this time of year. They seem to like to keep opponents guessing as much as they can.
