Really surprised Archie face-planted the way he did. Did not see that coming.

Had pretty high expectations for Keatts. Has been meh.

Holtmann and Wade are clearly the best.

Kind of have to take into account the shape of the program they took over right?  Holtmann vs Underwood had completely different tasks

Wade is going to end up out taking a seat on the bench at some point pretty soon. LSU is a total joke for not dumping him now for blatant violations , but, hey, their football team pays players too.

Underwood has done a decent job. If we can get to a S16 this year he will be doing just fine.
Will be another rebuild after this year, but we should be OK and hopefully get back to tourney in 2024 with some pickups in FA/transfer market.

“Hopefully back to the tourney in 2024?” If Underwood misses the tourney in 2023 that will be significant failure. Particularly if Curbelo returns, which at this point seems fair.

WTF are you talking about?
We are going to lose all five starters.
Like 95% of the scoring and minutes.

Where is Curbelo going? Also, “hopefully 2024?” If we miss the tourney two consecutive years we hired the wrong coach (and from the results 5 years in, I don’t think we did). There’s also the transfer portal.

Unless Curbelo plays like an All-American the next 8 weeks, I don’t know where he’d be going. Unless he’s desperate to get out, which isn’t anything I’ve heard, at least.

Three starters are definitely leaving. Belo is not a starter.

I'll try.
Curbelo has started 4 of 7 games and played 140 minutes. He's hardly a starter right now.
Our starters, who will all be gone next year, scored 71 of our 80 points vs Wisco.
And the transfer portal works both directions. Players can leave too.

I mean we "could" make the tourney in 2023, but as far as I can see its looking like a rebuilding year

I am assuming that Plummer is gone. He was at a juco for 2 years at Arizona Western before his 2 years at Utah and now a year here.
Not sure how he would get another year.

Trent/Jacob/Damonte are all done.
Kofi will not be back. He will be 23 this year.

Not impossible for next year if we pull in some experienced scorers and big men.
Otherwise it is Curbelo (if he returns) and a bunch of decent looking young kids with some promise.

We'll have Dainja, Hawkins, Leib and ? as our bigs

we will miss a shitload of experience and shooting though, but if Plummer comes back that would be very helpful
