He tried to call 3 to 5 times but no one picked up...

Wasn't he in the hospital because he had the flu (pre-Covid)? Underachiever probably thought the kid was a pussy. Sure seems like he is.

Dude was at three programs in five years and finally blossomed into a sometimes decent player on a definitively mediocre P5 team. The two no-sit transfers allowed him to migrate to his level in an unprecedented manner. He’d be getting spot minutes on essentially any Top 25 team. Hang a fucking banner.

There were allegedly allegations of alleged punitive use of treadmill.

Smith was hard to rank because he dominated as a 6-5 guard against what was perceived as decent metro east competition. Athletically, he dunked on people. Skillwise, he handled the ball and shot well from three.

However, he saw limited aau action and only against weak competition, because he played baseball until he hurt his arm.

Because he had been a baseball prospect, many did think he was underranked. He might actually have been a little over ranked
