Fun game. Good effort. Purdue is very very good. We are also very good and could be excellent in another month.
Will be interesting to see how they reshuffle the rotation moving forward.

What a game. No shame losing to the #4 team. Not even close to the end of the world.

In fact, I'm even more excited seeing us continue to grow and improve after that.

I think we go into Ncaa as a 3 or 4

I say we end up 22-8 15-5

It’s weird. We seemed to be getting a very short bench in last few games. Really only playing 7 guys.

All of the sudden we seem deep after today.

Got to put the pieces together now. It is there.

Here’s the reality…

We were preseason #10 team in America…

In both high end home matchups we looked overmatched and along with Marquette game can’t finish period…That’s what this team is folks…All that talent, average coach and maybe one win in the tourney…

This is so bad. We had ball in Plummer’s hands with chance to tie in final minute when he had that epic brain cramp. Went to 2OT today. Definitely overmatched. And we still haven’t even had a chance to be healthy and cohesive yet.

Who schedules a game for Monday at 11am?  Terrible scheduling.

Missed the entire game and it was the only one I had any interest in watching since the Big 10 sucks.

From the box score, Curbelo 20 points 0 turnovers great game for him.

Kofi showed why he’s never getting drafted

Purdue is a better team, better coached, lead nearly entire game.  Deserved the win. 

Illinois ceiling is 3 seed and sweet 16.

Healthy and cohesive 🤣🤣🤣…Look I get it, the bar is set real low with the past 15 years we’ve had, but come on…

They sold us a corvette and they delivered us a semi nice ford Taurus…Good economy car and will get you where you need to go, but at the end of the day there’s nothing pretty about it…That’s what this team is…

And I gave em a pass with the Kofi suspension, that was until I watched the Marquette game and Belo’s meltdown in a game we had won from start to finish…

After that I didn’t care…I watched some of the Arizona game and it was like men among boys…Oregon gets more run then we do and they’re not even ranked…Helps when you beat two top 5 teams on the road…As for Spark that’s a whatever from me…I’ve been around awhile and have never seen him post anything useful, he just comes on and disagrees with other peoples facts like myself…
