Donald Gibb

Met him once when he came
into my restaurant in Skokie. He was good friend’s with the owner of Trader Todd’s karaoke bar a few blocks from where I lived near Wrigley. The guy who ran karaoke there once called me a “Trader Todd’s legend” for my Folsom Prison Blues rendition. I didn’t really go in there that much, though.

Tempo: "PAMan is a pot stirrer and agent provocateur"

RIP Sam. Wasn't uncommon for me to run into Ronnie WooWoo around town. I remember seeing Ronnie at the Billy Goat under Michigan Ave the first round of the playoffs in 2016. Might be the last time I was at the Billy Goat.

Looked for those pics and had a hard time finding them. Hope I didn’t delete them when creating more space on my phone. I did find this one, though.

Which is fine. But any self respecting Chicagoan calls it Slitz.
And the stuff was awful. 🍻

I had one at Jake’s Pub on Clark Street once. I believe it was my first post to Instagram. Didn’t seem that bad for swill as I recall.

Here it is. Not the first post to IG, but one of the first.
