Don't know about the story but do know Belisle's was a helluva place to get a great meal. Ate there a couple of times when I lived in G Grove in the late 70s and 80s. Was leaving there 1 time and Orioles star Eddie Murray was coming in.
RIP Frank Howard. Scared a few pitchers in his day with liners through the box.
