A place to celebrate celebrity deaths

Apparently the old thread was a victim of the great purge so here’s a new one.

Bob Saget is dead.

Just saw Sidney Poitier died a few days ago, too.  In the Heat of the Night is one of my favorite movies.

A few years ago, I made the mistake of joining my fairytales-besotted sister and her kids on a trip to Universal Studios.

As we rode one of their 7 MPH charabancs through the back lot, she made an excited "eeew!" sound because Bob Saget passed by on a golf cart.

I think he must have been one of those guys who was really easy to work with, because he never seemed to be out of work, even if you'd never heard of his current project.

Growing up I just always knew him as the dorky dad from Full House. Was kind of jarring seeing some of his stand up work later in life.

Exactly.  That and his work on Entourage were both in the same raunchy vein.

His real standup was quite blue. Very funny guy, and well liked. Gone too soon.
