I've been saying Merry Christmas for days and I'd say about 20% of the cohort of recipients refuse to say it and instead only say Happy Holidays.

35% are not Christian. Most of those, almost 75%, or 26%, are religiously unaffiliated. That's probably the more educated part of the population.

A secular season's greetings makes logical sense for those who want to be respectful and inclusive.

 Why get one's feelings hurt if someone wishes one a happy holiday of one's choice?
