Missed the game, was at my local HS watching Bball and a conference opening win.  Back on track of late.  Hopefully Belo comes back soon and gets back on track as well. 

Off topic, Purdue is solid.

Fun game. Rutgers is bad, especially without Baker.  But we need tune up games badly.

Love the ball movement and getting away from that repetitive boring ball screen. Kofi passing out of double teams is huge for the team development  although there were a couple times I think he thought pass first when he could have easily scored himself. But it’s a start. Starting to see flashes of what this team could be if everything comes together.

Last night statistically was just about a perfectly played game for Illinois.

12-33 from 3.  66 overall FG attempts.  If it’s not a Kofi paint shot, then shooting the 3 is the next best shot.  So good on Illinois not shooting many 2s.  3s and Kofi is all you need

13 offensive rebs on 34 missed shots.  That’s good.

Only 10 turnovers.

Probably Illinois best game they’ve played in years.

Curbelo quite possibly was the cancer.  At least turnover cancer.  Take him out and the team is far more efficient
