And the now in 5th place SUNJ goes into Madison for the win, outscoring Wisco in both halves. 73-65.

Rutgers looks pretty good right now.

How in the hell does CBS Jerry Palm have Wisconsin as a 2 seed? They are 35th in KENPOM. They pretty much suck.

Their last 3 games, all wins, vs ranked teams. MSU, tOSU, and Wisco.
Maybe one of Palm's 48k+ Twitter followers can ask him. I hear # of followers is a factor in being viewed as an 'expert'.

Today vs tOSU, 4-17 for 24%.

Agreed, Rutgers is playing well at this time.

I pay no attention to these "experts" (the Joe Lunardi's of the world) with their bracketology starting in January, 2 months before Selection Sunday for the tourney. So much can happen from January-early March to determine how the brackets are set up.

Agree it is premature, but if you simply watch Wisconsin play an actual game you would NEVER think they are one of top 8 teams in country.

Go figger.
PSU shoots 55%, and goes 8-15 from 3 for 53%. Wins the boards 34-17 and the gofs can't find one offensive board to haul in.
Gofs have 3 turnovers and PSU has 13, with 2 travels in the last minute or so.
Gofs go 12-13 from the line. PSU goes 4-7 and goes back to Happy Valley with a loss.
Turnovers, fouls and free throws. Things that done us in too often during Underwood's first couple of years.
Eric Curry gets a career high 22. The guy has been thru a ton of injuries and kept coming back to play. Good for him.

Maryland up 4 without Ayala.
Also Bo Broskie is garbage.  Purdue with only 1 foul called so far.

I would be really  happy if we can close out the year 5-2.  4-3 is probably the safest bet right now.  Michigan State , Rutgers, and Michigan will all be really tough matchups and all on the road for that matter. Both Rutgers and Michigan will be playing for their NCAA lives.

Nebraska should end the Fred Hoiberg experiment.  They were way better under Tim Miles
