CU vs Kansas cancelled tonight's game just now.  It's Covid related but no specifics yet. I had a $50 ticket for decent seat that I bought months ago but could have sold it for $400-500 to a Jaysquaker fan.  I was conflicted but not any longer.

You passed up a $400 profit for a CU/KU game in December?

Never got the chance because I was going to scalp it outside the arena.  Cancellation came about 2 hrs prior to tip off.  There were literally thousands of KU fans who made the trip.

Michigan about to lose @Rutgers. Down 11 with a minute to go.

Is Juwan Howard the no doubt COY or nah?

Official winner of the HQ Tallest Midget award. Thanks, Jobu!

Rick Barnes has gone under the radar for a very long time, but is a pretty fine steward of a basketball program.

He screams of mediocrity. Hard pass. It’s like the Bulls the past 10 years before this one. Stuck in purgatory.

He seems to have gotten a dead cat bounce at TN. He always seems to have talented rosters.

Dead cat bounce? Dude won 26
and 31 games in ‘18 and ‘19. Bit of a down year in ‘20, but he’s been pretty consistent at Tenn. consistently good.

Then I guess you think Lou Henson’s career screamed of mediocrity, because he’s almost a carbon copy.

Tom Crean had a Final Four that year, too.

Texans got bored with the early exits.

Illini fans weren’t crazy about them, either.

Barnes is neither under or over-rated....hence the word steward applies well here. He wins games, maintains academics, maintains decent out of trouble programs. He does not win NC games, he usually doesn't go very far in tournaments...thus stewardship is applicable, mediocrity is a far cry for Barnes however.
