Don’t really care if you guys think I’m taking a huge L on this one. The fact remains it’s pretty inconclusive at best. A giant man in pads just starting running in the direction of a 69 year old man. To expect the old man to not take a defensive position and not brace for potential contact is pretty asinine. The ONLY reason this got a 2nd look is because most people hated the call (and the timing of when he threw it makes it look worse). And they hate refs who make super subjective calls in crucial situations. If Corrente doesn’t throw the flag, no one bats an eye at any of this.
