Which team will score more points this week? The Bronco, with its 6th string QB, or the Bear, with MVP Mitch?
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

Both defenses could outscore both offenses.  Tom Matte, where have you gone?

Absolutely horrible roster management on the offensive side of the ball. Can’t stay in the field and can’t expect defense to play great when they’re on the field the whole game. Even taking that into account the defense is still disappointing.

I’d be inclined to put most of the blame on Pace for the horrible performance...When Nagy had a solid roster in 2018 the results were solid. Even Mitch had a good year.

But Nagy’s mind boggling assortment of game/clock management gaffes and inability to find any way to generate some offense through scheme adjustments is damning.

But perhaps the most condemning aspect is that there is nothing fun about watching this team play football whatsoever.

Of course #10 is a total bum...he is good enough to make a career as a backup. There’s just nothing there to ever be a starter

Bears defense has slipped mightily. Rodgers jersey during the pity talk with Mitch looks like it was just removed from the plastic wrapper.

This is Matt LaFleur’s offense now.  It will be interesting to see how Rodgers adjusts to the new system.

Apparently ok

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

We can no longer say, “well at least they play hard for Nagy.” That defense gave up last night.

I don’t know that I’d be a good GM, but I’d love to be in the room!

No way in hell I want Ryan Pace picking our next QB or coach. He can be a defensive scout, though.

Bears may as well sign Kaepernick to drive everyone bat shit. Given the terrible offensive line, he could die back there and half the county would be happy....

If it were two years ago I’d love this. But fuck it, let’s do it anyway!

To conclude, the Bears are who I thought they were. Nagy is one of the those guys who might be better the 2nd time around (but something in me doubts this because he doesn’t adapt well to situations or his personnel). If he learns to be more humble, he could be a decent coach. He’s good in the locker room, but you’ve gotta understand personnel and situations in this league.

Pace drafted Mitchell Trubisky over Patrick Mahomes and DeShaun Watson. And...he traded up to do so. No way in hell I want this guy picking our new QB. He’s done great on defense, but has blown it massively in every other way. Took him three years to stumble into a reliable kicker. Pack your bags, Ryan, and I’d prefer you take your friend Matt with you.

Re: 2018 the defense was historically good and the offense was ok for a short period because of Mitch and Tarik Cohen’s legs. The offense started to stall after some modest early success. The offense was garbage in the post-season. Nagy is a run of the mill coach who’s not as smart as he thinks he is.

choosing to build the franchise around a defensive player in the modern era of offense appears to be a not-so-shocking mistake.

You know what else is funny to me....the same off-season the Chiefs hired Andy Reid, the Bears hired Marc Trestman LOL
