Twitter rumors of Marshall or Coastal Carolina to play in a 2nd bowl.
That would be similar to a situation where no 5-7 teams are offered a bowl slot if they run out of eligible teams.
A 2nd bowl appearance would need a waiver.

Perhaps Texas A&M didn't want to lose another bowl game to Wake Forest (52-55 loss in the 2017 Duke's Mayo Bowl).

We'll find out today. The bowl committee has to meet, the schools have to assess, and the coaches need to make sure they can round up the players.
Dunno if it's true, but I read we were 7-4-1 against the spread.
