Dude averaged 11 wins a year over his 5 years there. Won the conference 3x, never finished worse than 2nd. Made the CFP 3x in 5 years. Also produced two Heisman winning QBs. I can’t imagine Oklahoma is happy to see him go.

Riley would have gone from top of Big 12 to middle of SEC.  I don't it's lateral just smart.

I think it’s a great move for LSU to get a coach as good as Kelly.  He has gotten maximum results at each school he’s been at. 

For Kelly himself, it sure will be a much more difficult task but LSU has had 2 dingbats win national titles there in Miles and Orgeron.  Getting an actual good coach, to go with all their NIL stuff should make for a really good team.  Kelly will be able to recruit better players at LSU than ND.  Probably believes he can’t win a title at ND but can at LSU.

Norman to LA isn’t a lateral move. He’s upgrading his lifestyle exponentially, and under the right coach USC has as much powerhouse potential as any program in the country. What Pete Carroll did there is right up there with Urban Meyer and Dabo Sweeney.
