Yep. If he can really handle the ball will maybe get some time. He sounds like an old school PG.


Edit:
Actually from his videos looks like a similar player to the Harding kid that Iowa is bringing in next year from Moline.
A little more length. Unusual very high ball skills.
Will see if he can guard and deal with speed and physicality, but very slick.

Montverde Academy’s boys basketball team won the 20th annual MAIT championship on Saturday night, beating Chicago’s St. Rita Catholic 90-70.

St. Rita (15-10) ... was paced by Illinois-bound Morez Johnson, who had 22 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Bylaw 19.7.3: In cases involving name, image and likeness offers, agreements and/or activities in which related communications and conduct are subject to NCAA regulation, the infractions process shall presume a violation occurred if circumstantial information suggests that one or more parties engaged in impermissible conduct. The enforcement staff may make a formal allegation based on the presumption. The hearing panel shall conclude a violation occurred unless the institution or involved individual clearly demonstrates with credible and sufficient information that all communications and conduct surrounding the name, image and likeness activity complied with NCAA legislation.

Not actually the AZ route, it is the Gonzaga route...the coach at AZ was the #1 recruiter globally for the Zags for 10 years as the assistant before taking the AZ job. But yes the theory is the same, I mentioned this many a time in the past on how the ILLINI should do this and use the global diversity of student population along with the education as HUGE recruiting tools. Finally, it seems to be happening.
