3-5 more minutes per game mighta done it, or 3-5 more minutes of work.

He’s not wrong. There’s an easy way to fix this. You choose your school you sit out a year. Now if your coach leaves on a moments notice, then you should get to leave and play immediately. There’s no give and take with the portal. The portal now belongs to the Millenial primadonnas.

Based upon what we are seeing this year with the transitional rule where you do not have to sit out -  and that becoming the norm- it is going to be crazy.
I am not saying it is good or bad- just crazy.
It is going to be like the AAU system where kids switch teams constantly for any number of reasons.

Coaches who can recruit in the chaos, and get the yearly changed over group playing together quickly at a high level will be at a premium.

I think the ability to have a structured system relying on execution will be even more difficult moving forward- but that has been the case increasingly for awhile now with all of the transfers (40%), and early entries by the better players.
In a weird way- there will be more pressure on a program having X's and O's that can be implemented quickly and are effective.
The staff that can find a blend of both consistent recruiting and getting something put in that works will do well.
Its the state of the game and is mirroring AAU really.

Just my guess...we should hear on Franklin today. My expectation is he ends up staying at IU. I’d bet on a full court press to get Frazier to come back assuming no Franklin or immediate other candidate pops up

I really think TJD staying in college will influence Franklin to stay at IU.

They got Jackson Davis to stay.  Dunno what else they have coming in or staying.

We need a couple scorers.
Trent is 22 this year and sure as hell paid his dues to the Ayo era star system.

Trent could be a decent Euro player. Might want to start making money.
