That's a lot of empty possessions.

We need a true three point guy and a long athletic small forward. Preferably in one human being.

This Mrkovic kid better be a bench guy or we will look like the fucking Washington Generals, and it is well known I consider Rodgers an 7/8 guy in any P6 rotation.

Boz and Stojakovic are really good at getting to the rim and the twins and Mirk will help with that I’d think. Boz just turned 20 and there’s no reason to think some of these guys won’t have incremental improvement from their younger seasons. We are getting older which is good. But still like LK said we have glaring deficiencies that have to be addressed with the next adds in order to have a team on paper that looks like a second weekend team.

Probably more than this past year. Hope there are fewer misses to rebound. But can’t deny it’s part of the strategy. Agree looking at pure percentage of 3s made is silly when we rebound them at a high rate and convert 40 some percent of those rebounds to points.

We are going to look like the old school Celtics (but with outside 7') as far as cutting, backdoor, passing, etc. general style of play. We won't be flashy, we will score a lot, we will get our long rebounds off of long misses. 1-2 athletes wouldn't hurt, but I would take Stoyakovic and a player like Claude or similar since we have the other guard to Boswell now.

The historical numbers on this group of players would indicate they once again will be one of the worst three point shooting teams in country. I don't care what color they are if they can play and shoot.

The issue is compounded by the insistence of apparently letting Junior design the offense schemes. If they can adapt to what they have rather than try to do shit they can't we could be ok.

This staff has rarely figured this out.

Tom Chambers was known to be very athletic, Bird was not known to be that, but had moments.

The stereotypes are wrong both ways:

McClung just what 3 peated on the NBA dunk contest, (not even in the league at the time), and yet many have uttered WTF that boy can jump for a white kid.

Jordan, Russell, Archibald, Magic, etc all were considered very intelligent (in fact Jordan was a math major until JR year in college) hell no on that one for me.

I agree that white doesn’t mean unathletic, I meant that these particular guys are both white, and unathletic. They’re not plodders per se, but I don’t know if we have a single guy that anyone would describe as truly athletic. Ty, maybe? Not trying to be a downer, just trying to draw parallels between the Final 4 teams from a few weeks ago and this coming year’s team and I don’t see any. Not that I want to look like a Houston team.

Well we needed a PG and we got a 3rd year pro who's probably either going to be all-conference or unplayable. Desperately need guy who can hit 3s and an athletic forward.

Petrovic, Boswell, Rodgers, Ivisic, Ivisic is a very good lineup to finish sixth in the B1G wearing Nebraska or Wisconsin jerseys.
