I have only seen his name in one mock draft. AYo is everywhere from mid teens to late second.
I think Ayo goes first round for sure. Kofi will be interesting.
Somebody will take a flyer on him in second or as FA is my guess.

WOudl be nice, but will never happen. Ayo is first round near lock. If he has monster tourney he is lotto.
Kid has went from second round/FA territory in December to guaranteed money and roster spot.

Kofi is more of a question mark, but if they have workouts he will know where he might go.
Honestly, if he stays and we grab a couple of those guards we are supposedly in on- we could be right back in the mix.
He could use another year to develop a jump shot and learn how to guard PnR and in space better. On the other hand he can do that in G league or if he makes a roster.

Eh, I wouldn’t have bet a single dollar on Ayo staying 3 years so I’m not ruling out anything at this point. Covid probably played a role in that, though.

He wasn't going anywhere last year, covid or no covid. He would have been lucky to get drafted in late second round. He made right decision.

Hasn’t stopped some players before. And the G League seems more palatable to younger players now than it once did.

Got that right. It doesn't usually make financial sense to leave college early unless the player will be a 1st round pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Second round picks don't automatically get the 2 year guaranteed contract (+2 option years) that 1st round picks receive; they're not subject to the rookie scale contract so league minimum or slightly more is common.

Kofi will have an interesting decision to make. NBADraft.net currently projects he'll go early in the 2nd round (34th pick). If he has a great NCAA Tournament, that will certainly help. But the game has been changing for the past @10 years and now there are few traditional low post centers in the NBA. Could be an opportunity for a team that is willing to concede 3 point shots from the opposition's new-age 5, though. Mismatches work both ways.

I am not a hard core stars or rankings guy, but they generally do give you an indication of a player as these rankings are garnered against their peers in AAU for better or worse.
That said, we are having a monster year and it is no coincidence that we have a lot of talent and several players that were considered strong prospects (Top 40-150 players).
Getting talent is key.
