I do feel bad for kids like this. But back when I still followed recruiting I remember guys like that clown that live streamed his visit here on social media and trolled the whole fan base...then went to some non basketball school for $$$

TyTy Washington decommitted from Creighton and is supposedly looking at us and Texas. We finished second to Creighton the first time around. Nimari Burnett basically sounds like a done deal. The Boakye kid that decommitted from MSU really likes Illinois. We are believed to be in the lead for Wisconsin Mr. Basketball. Or maybe we won’t get shit but some transfers no one has heard of. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, I went though the Top 100 list of uncommitted. https://247sports.com/Season/2021-Basketball/CompositeRecruitRankings/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool

We are not listed as in on any of them. The Wisconsin Mr. BB is #158 FWIW.
Did not know we are on TyTy's list. It does not show that on 247, but things change for sure with these kids. We have 3 open spots at guard next year.

Burnett looks like a good get. What happened at TT??

I think we get Burnett and Boakye. The TyTy ship has sailed.

Rumors of racist undertones happening in his time at TT within the community maybe? So obviously central Illinois would be a good fit.

Boakye is probably the biggest get of this class imo. Dude is a straight up badass.
