According to other "posters" 'insiders", supposedly, problems may exist with TU, TA leaving may have had to do something with this and the # out there is 2 MIL for a non shooter, rebounder expert.

Sure not all or maybe none is accurate, but if Hawkins was worth 2, Rez could make the argument, he was just as good in regards to 1 skill set as Hawkins was in several. That said, the game plan moving forward will be interesting.

Not good losing a kid who committed here when he was 16, and then when he finally gets here he has to watch Humbrickhouse throw up bricks game after game. I think Brad fumbled badly here.

We will see when the smoke clears, my guess is we will hear a lot about what went on behind the scenes to get to this point. He was a TA recruit make no mistake, my guess is that he may have some people in his ears.

If the rumor is correct that 2 MIL was offered, and he went portalling, well BU could have played him more earlier, but no sure that still would have mattered.

How did college hoops go from student athletes committing to the school for just an athletic scholarship 🤣🤣 ,not the coach mind you but the school, to $2 million for a rebounder who can't stay on the floor because of fouls

They are denying it now, but this caught the insiders by surprise.

I suspect some other schools are telling him he can face up and shoot threes more; which he'll need at the next level. They might say that now, but it's not happening.

I wonder if Tim Anderson had a hand in this?

Morez is an elite shooter. He makes everything in practice. He just needs to transfer it to games. 😉

Where am I wrong?

Morez Johnson is 6-8 / 6-9 255 with long arms, good hands, and quick leaping ability. He runs the floor well for a wide body big. His basketball skills are dunking, rebounding, blocking shocks, and setting screens. His usage is limited by fouls and defensive match ups.

Well, that sucks. Sounds like half unreasonable expectations and half bad coaching/personnel management.

You can't do anything about the former but it's a gamble treating a 5-star like we did with him in the current game and in case anyone thinks this is hindsight bias, I warned specifically about Humrichous playing over him a year ago:
If Humrichous is our starting 5 it tells me both Morez and Ivisic are relative busts and that would be bad for a number of reasons. I could see Humrichous starting at the 4 if Rodgers jumps at being 6th man, but if Morez is on the bench watching a transfer from a lower half Valley team chuck 3s from his position I'm not sure why any coach would help their 5-star Mr. Basketball type guys play for Brad again.

The "I don't want to end up like Kofi" part is wild. I understand it in terms of expanding your shot chart beyond dunks and putbacks but I mean...

Here's how Brad and his staff "failed" Kofi

He is absolutely correct. Go somewhere where you will get some coaching instead of whatever this is.

He's blaming Brad and staff for Kofi not getting a shot in the League. Which is mostly baloney.
