Yes of course it’s a small sample size and it’s preseason but the big picture is the Bears have plugged in QB after QB for decades with mediocre results at best.

They got rid of Mitch after a few up and mostly down seasons behind a trash O Line and bring in two other QBs and put them behind a still-trash O Line. Then Mitch thoroughly outplays both of the new guys on their home field. It’s just so…Bears.

And yeah yeah yeah it’s preseason but not sure how anyone can feel anything remotely positive after that pantsing. These are still professional athletes trying to earn playing time and future paydays led by a coach and GM on very hot seats. Very disappointing showing.

It’s amazing what a guy like Mitch can do with an O Line.

😂😂😂 he had more problems than the O-line

I’m not saying the 2021 Bears are any good, I don’t think they’re better than average; but the ‘85 Bears went 1-3 in the preseason.

Guess we’ll see. There are very few QBs who can succeed behind a below average or bad O Line. Unfortunately Aaron Rodgers doesn’t play for the Bears.

In 4 years with the Bears, Mitchell Trubisky never showed an ability to read coverages or hit a guy in stride two passes in a row. His problem wasn’t the O-line. Thought it didn’t help him a lot either.

Yeah, it’s probably just coincidence that Chicago’s QBs suck ad nauseam.

Hahahaha Bearce…

Mitch Trubisky told @PardonMyTake that he was "very surprised" when the Chicago Bears drafted him. "I had no idea they were even interested in me. It was very unexpected."

Trubisky said the Bears forgot to call him on draft night to let him know he was getting picked.

So it’s been the O-lines fault for 90 of the 100 years?

I find that a little bit hard to believe.

Wish I could say the same.

Oh the Bears will suck. I came to that conclusion long before this game. They could have beat the Bills 75-0 and picked off Mitch 5 times and it still wouldn’t have changed anything for me. Preseason performances are utterly meaningless save for guys fighting to make the roster.

Of course not. But the line has been really bad for quite a while.

And the line could have been good and Mitchell Trubisky would still top out at average NFL QB at best.

And once he lost a step, probably out of the league.

Can’t believe no one wants to talk Bears anymore.
