Noble effort from an undermanned Bears defense last night. I thought Kirk Cousins might throw for 500 yards last night (but I’m not surprised he didn’t).

Last night is one game I wish Matt Nagy had forgotten the run game existed, and just thrown it 50x. We know David Montgomery is good. Have “some fun,” Matt Nagy and see if Fields can carry an offense. You’re 4-9 and you’re getting fired. Just let it all go.

Again, the Bears play an undisciplined mistake riddled game. A reflection of their leadership and inept scheming, particularly on the offensive end.

One penalty I heard people criticize was the personal foul on Tevin Jenkins, which I didn’t mind a bit. You’re 4-9, and going nowhere. I’m glad Jenkins is out there showing his quarterback he’s got his back. In a playoff game, or an elimination game that’s a dumb penalty but at 4-9, no problem with it all.

Lastly, Fields has another up and down game. Has some things he definitely needs to iron out. Not going to judge him too harshly until he gets better coaches and players around him. I do think they finally found someone they can’t ruin. Super impressed by his mental and physical toughness and his professional  approach.
