So, the Gazette finally gave up huh? Funny. Think they'll hassle you about the name "HQ" name?

The guy over at Illini-Nation.net is/was trying to get someone to take over that forum. Not sure if he wants money for it but it is already established. Check link below if interested. Anyway this seems like a fine replacement. Well done.

They seemed only interested in selling it for a chunk of money. I said I’d pay them for the site and cover all costs to debrand the site to eliminate their ties and liability and to have it transferred it to me. I even promised them free banner ads for N-G in perpetuity, but never heard anything back. As to them bothering me, not even sure how they’d find out unless someone told them. They weren’t interested in keeping the other community and passed up my offer...can’t see it as being of much significance to the new ownership. ILLove did anyone hassle you about the branding on the Reddit page?
