Congrats Custard, for collecting one of the dumbest and most awful groups of people I've ever been around on the 'net.

I used to love being part of 'The Cesspool', because it was always anything but.  But this place took that name and ran with it.  Only the dumbest and most bigoted.

Eh.  The people here haven't changed.  Illove has always been Illove, Tempo has always been Tempo, Custard has always been Custard...

I've been on here a lot less, and rarely look at the stuff that is not Illini sports related.  I'm sure you do the same.  It is what it is here.  Like it or not, it is what it is.

And, if you think I'm one of the "dumbest and most bigoted", well you can probably go fuck yourself and spend time in a room with carbon monoxide.

Trans and gay people don’t bother me. One of my best friends is openly gay. I don’t personally know any openly trans people. I am sympathetic to the hatred and derision that is directed their way. I understand that the lack of understanding of these people is what breeds the contempt in the first place.

I also understand that it’s contradictory to then also say that I don’t need to have awareness and visibility and education about it shoved down my throat constantly and I’m ok with that.

I believe the education and awareness campaigns need to be handled tactfully if they are to succeed in any meaningful way.

Seems to me a lot of places have added the unisex bathrooms which easily solves the bathroom issue which, imo, isn’t really an issue.
