I've said many times, Conservatives have been correct to be distrustful of "legacy media" as you like to call it; but they are distrustful for the wrong reasons. They're mad about "woke" shit in the media, when they should be mad about the corporate misdeeds and grift that don't get talked about.

There are a lot of layers to what happened on Jan 6, some questions that remain unanswered, and things that have been swept under the rug.

You told MN that Trump Supporters stormed the Capitol and tried to overturn an election. That is a stretch in and of itself. Probably the weakest and most unorganized coup of all time, and wasn’t even openly sanctioned by Trump. Mostly a bunch of idiots with nothing else to do but go raise some hell.

Not even really a coup - in the end if they went and actually hung Mike Pence, Biden still ends up President. Or at the very least Trump does not end up President. Once you get to that territory there are no rules.

As for Trump sanctioning it - if he wanted it to not happen, it would not happen. He owns that mob. No matter how you slice it, it’s a lack of leadership. And then there’s that whole pardon thing. Why pardon a bunch of idiots who go out and raise hell?
